A 12-hour day in the Grand Tetons

We spent 12-hours visiting the Grand Tetons after a fresh snow. Hard to put into words the breathtaking day that we shared together. So, I decided to share our fantastic day via photos. Memories that we will cherish forever. Our day started at 4:30 AM. We were at the top of Route 20 for our first photo as we waited for our sunrise. (Okay, maybe we sat there for a while because I was nervous about the icy roads and the 10% grade going down the hill to get to Jackson Hole)  The view was very similar to what we experienced at Haleakala in Maui. What an amazing feeling, to be above the clouds…

Antelope Island State Park, Utah

A beautiful park located on the largest of the Great Salt Lakes islands; features lots of white-sand beaches, hiking and biking trails in addition to a variety of flora and fauna, including deer, bobcats, and of course, antelopes.

Easter Sunday in Zion with some of the locals…

We had such a great Easter this year. We decided to make a quick trip to Zion National Park. The weather wasn’t great, we had on and off rain all day. The eastern entrance into Zion-Mount Carmel Highway was closed due to a winter landslide. We could only travel so far before we had to turn around. However, the weather or road conditions didn’t stop us from enjoying some amazing views, and some of the locals of Zion.

Catalina & Picacho State Parks

Visitors were flocking to Catalina and Picacho Peak State Parks in Arizona so they can get a glimpse of the explosion of color in the landscape. We were right there with them. Beautiful.

Such a beautiful color.
